Video of Wheelchair Laser Tag

I just saw this on Facebook via Representing Disability in an Ableist World: Essays on Mass Media. The video of wheelchair laser tag is, I’m tempted to say, “of course” from the UK. They always seem to be ahead of the United States in terms of accessibility. According to the article, “DOZENS of people tried their hand at an innovative new sport. There were all ages and abilities taking part in the wheelchair laser tag event at Itchen College in Southampton. The sport, which was devised by disabled Hampshire man Gary Byrne, is a cross between paintballing and laser quest, designed for both disabled and able-bodied participants. Gary, who has spina bifida, now hopes to continue the growth of the sport further, after hosting a series of successful pilot events across the county this year.”
