Making Holiday Meals and Dysphagia Mix Comfortably

One of the best disability-related blogs I read offered up another solid post from a caretakers viewpoint at Cargivingly Yours. Patrick Leer writes about enjoying a Thanksgiving meal while helping his wife, who has dysphagia due to multiple sclerosis. Check out the comments section for a great step-by-step instruction on doing the Heimlich maneuver on someone in a wheelchair. Leer slips in his usual humor while covering this important issue for many.
