          It’s got a
Christmas background, a character with a disability, and not one patronizing,
heart-warming moment in the entire film. In fact, the character’s disability
seems to have absolutely nothing to do with the plot of Elf

          At long last
Zach Anner’s travel show, Rollin’ with Zach, will
premier on OWN tonight at 8 PM. Anner has cerebral palsy, and won the show from
Oprah Winfrey in June of last year. I haven’t heard what the delay was all
about, but it’s good to see that the show is finally reaching the small screen.

          Last week I wrote a post on my own blog responding to
comments on philly.com posted on an article about the lack of accessible taxis 
in Philadelphia.


          The word I settled on to
describe the comments was “disturbing.” They were beyond ignorant, revealing

We stumbled on to the below story and video about a self-driving
car. It’s probably not considered assistive technology, and I doubt it will be
on the market any time soon. But there certainly seems to be some future
implications for people with disabilities who cannot drive.
